4th of July

Yes, we're still here and having a ball in Show Low (Concho.) My life has been crazy with all the CASA goings on, maybe I'll write about that in the future. But, when Joey asked if we were doing anything for the 4th, we decided to have a party...with one day's notice. I called it, "Burn Your Own-Hodge-Podge Potluck" Since it was a holiday weekend, no one wanted to go to town to buy food, so we really did fix our dishes from our onboard supplies. We had four grills going and 15 people showed up.
We had plenty of room for tuna steak, bratwurst, hamburgers, and hot dogs. Everything cooked to the cooks' preference.
We had two cakes, and one dutch oven peach cobbler. We had salads, lasagna, chicken and rice casserole, and watermelon. Plus, even more. Actually, it was amazing to see what we could come up with with one day's notice. It was so good......

When we finished stuffing ourselves, we just sat around and talked. GOOD camaraderie.
So, even though we stuffed ourselves, we'll do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay tuned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
